Uncanny hands: Skin and touch. Body language and hand gestures. Transparent bodies are touched by real hands and vice versa. Sutures and scars. Surgery and the act of healing. Exploring material components and interpersonal relationships. Life as Leib. Bone Work: Exploring the depth of the body and its bony structures. Experiments with medical images and my femoral head after hip replacement. Working with silicone and resin. Tactile Operations / Assemblage: Combining medical images, recordings of operating hands of surgeons and staged representations of silicone and resin casts of my own hands.
