Waxes

A visit of the MUSEO DI STORIA NATURALE and the ZOOLOGIA “LA SPECOLA” in Firenze, comparing the anatomical waxes with the collection at the JOSEPHINUM in Vienna, on many levels was of interest to us. We tried to get a sense of how the modes of re/presentation are different between the models in Firenze and in Vienna.
